Stuff That Makes Life Easier

Things I actually use, love, or would recommend to a friend.

Life is already complicated enough. These are the products that make life little easier, cozier, more organized, or just more enjoyable—from overwhelmed-girl survival supplies and home finds to books, planners, creative stuff and the occasional thing I absolutely did not need but now refuse to live without. 😂

Overwhelmed Girl Survival Kit

Tiny things that make the chaotic days slightly less chaotic.

The “I Refuse to Leave the Couch” Lap Desk

For laptop days, planners, journaling, paperwork—or turning the couch into a perfectly respectable office. It fits up to a 14" laptop, holds standard-size paper, has a built-in pen slot, and even has a handle for carrying it around.

Why I like it: Sometimes being productive does not require putting on real pants. 😂 It’s simple, inexpensive, and useful for about twelve different things depending on what kind of chaos we’re dealing with today.

The “Apparently We Live in a Haunted Mansion Now” Candles

Flameless floating candles that instantly make a room feel a little more magical and a lot more spooky. Hang them up for Halloween parties, movie nights, or simply because regular ceiling lighting is boring. 😂

Why I like it: They give you all the dramatic floating-candle vibes without an actual flame—which means we can be witchy without turning spooky season into an insurance claim. 😂🕯️

The “These Are Mine. Get Your Own.” Twizzlers 😂

Cherry-flavored Twizzlers shaped like little ghosts, because apparently regular candy isn't festive enough once spooky season begins. Cute, inexpensive, and dangerously easy to keep eating. 👻🍒

Why I like it: These are actually one of my favorite Halloween candies—which means this recommendation comes with a warning to everyone in my house: if you see my bag, keep walking. 😂

The “Normal Glasses Are Boring” Skull Set 💀

A spooky skull decanter and matching skull glasses that turn an ordinary drink station into a whole Halloween situation. Perfect for parties, spooky girls’ nights, movie marathons, or family get-togethers.

Why I like it: Do we need skull-shaped glasses to enjoy cider, mocktails, punch, or whatever mysterious potion we're serving? Absolutely not. Does everything taste approximately 47% more festive when it comes out of a skull? Obviously. 😂💀

🎃 Spooky Season Favorites

Little things that make the best season even better. 👻

The “I’m Participating in Halloween From the Couch” Blanket

A soft Halloween throw covered in bats for movie nights, reading marathons, chilly fall evenings, or those days when your contribution to society is simply being cozy. 😂

Why I like it: It's spooky without being over-the-top, actually useful, and gives me a perfectly reasonable excuse to wrap myself in a blanket and declare that I'm celebrating Halloween. 🦇

The “Fine, These Ones Can Be for the Trick-or-Treaters” Candy 😂

Individually packed Nerds Gummy Clusters that are easy to toss into trick-or-treat bags, candy bowls, party favors—or your own snack drawer when nobody's looking.

Why I like it: They're already portioned and ready to hand out, which means no sitting at the table the night before Halloween assembling 73 tiny treat bags while questioning every decision that led you there. 😂🍬
